COMPLIANCE

QUALITY CONTROL/QUALITY ASSURANCE

At CSI Construction we believe quality is equaled in importance only to that of safety. When a project is completed the most important item left behind is the quality of the building. The quality of the project that CSI builds is our last impression for our Owners, Architects and other Clients.

Quality doesn’t cost, it pays! Implementing CSI’s Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Program greatly increases our customer satisfaction while decreasing the possibility of future call backs or warranty issues.

Quality means different things to different people. Typically the three main priorities of a client are dollars, time, and quality, these differ for each client. CSI is obligated to perform the work in accordance with predetermined requirements and procedures. CSI needs to be a factor in these requirements and procedures during the preconstruction phase. Quality Assurance is the plan to affect this, and Quality Control monitors the results of the plan.

TOTAL RISK MANAGEMENT

CSI’s team includes a group of well-trained professionals who bring a total risk management approach to each project. Regulations regarding worker safety, environmental issues and public liability are always factored into our project management. We are extremely sensitive to protecting and preserving the environment in which we live and work. Our commitment to the NPDES Storm Water Program is unequaled. It has set the industry standard with both public and regulatory agencies that are committed to safe,environmentally-responsible projects.

CONSTRUCTION SAFETY

  • CSI has partnered with Safety First Incorporated (SFI) who is an industry leader when it comes to jobsite safety.

  • CSI carefully pre-plans all training needs and safety requirements for every project at each stage of construction.

  • CSI requires this same level of commitment from our subcontractors as we continue to monitor and review the safety needs for the project.

  • CSI’s superintendent, project manager, and safety director together with SFI oversee our safety programs and training and work hard to ensure that all workers comply with all state and federal regulations as directed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS

Every CSI project incorporates the requirements of the EPA’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (“NPDES”). Each CSI project is started with certified Storm Water Professionals, all of whom have at least five (5) years of experience in environmental compliance oversight. CSI personnel implement and maintain the pollutant control measures described in the SWPPP (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan).

CSI Construction is proud to be a builder partner with EPA’s ENERGY STAR Certified Homes program. ENERGY STAR certified new homes meet EPA requirements for energy efficiency, delivering better quality, comfort, & durability.

LEGAL WORKFORCE

Colorado Structures Inc. is one of nine charter members—and was the first major general contractor—of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s new, voluntary ICE Mutual Agreement program, “IMAGE”. This innovative program allows CSI to partner with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to help uncover vulnerabilities to illegal activity related to immigration status. Technical tools are employed to verify social security numbers for W-2 purposes and are integrated with best practices to lead to a high level of assurance that CSI employees are legally eligible for employment.
